Company expects a beneficial impact from US tax reforms. FY 2017 effective tax rate is expected to remain at 30%, but expected to settle just above 20% from 2018 onwards, increasing EPS and improving cash flow.

Carr’s Group PLC (CARR): Trading Update; trading in line with expectations for current year.

Overall, Carr’s is trading in line with the Board’s expectations for the current financial year and significantly ahead of the prior year in both Agriculture and Engineering. The Group’s financial position remains strong.

Update on its UK and US facilities: Abzena takes on new facilities in Cambridge, UK and San Diego

Abzena consolidates UK and West Coast USA operations into two single facilities. Abzena has entered into a preferred biomanufacturing equipment supply and services agreement to supply the bioprocess reactor equipment, process analytic software and to provide support for the design of the new biomanufacturing facility in San Diego.

Trading Update for the four months from 1 September 2017 to 31 December 2017

UK sales up 25% Q-o-Q; Europe and Rest-of-World sales up 69%. Total sales up 42% Q-o-Q. Sales growth on a 2 year basis also strong, up 120%. Active Customer numbers up by 38% to 450,000 at 31 December 2017, compared with 31 December 2016.
