Amur Minerals (AMC); Aug-18 drill programme update at Kun-Manie

AMC announced that drilling has been highly productive at its wholly owned Kun-Manie nickel copper sulphide project in August 2018. A total of 7,969.1 m (29 holes) of drilling was completed, bringing the season’s total to 143 holes, containing a total of 26,235.4 m.

Spire Healthcare (SPI): full-year ebitda expected at £120-125m, down from £134m forecasts

Spiral healthcare announces an 8% fall in interim pre-tax profits

Private hospitals group Spire Healthcare has announced an 8% fall in interim pre-tax profits to £8.2m on revenues 1.1% lower at £476m. Spire warned in August that a funding squeeze in the NHS would hit profits, sending its shares down 20%.

DP Poland (DPP): expands its 60 stores in the most advanced of the East European economies

Dominos Poland expands by 11%

With 60 stores across 27 towns and cities, Dominos Poland is firmly in expansion mode. The store estate has expanded by 11% so far and management expects up to 20% expansion for the year as a whole.

Focusrite (TUNE); trading update: revenue expected to increase to £75m

TUNE provided trading update for FY August 2018, whereby it expects revenue to be in line with market expectations at £75m (+15 y/y cc), and net cash at £22.8m (FY17 – £14.2m) as the company continues to be cash generative, both due to higher profit and prudent working capital management. FY results are expected on 20-Nov.

SCISYS (SSY); secures £2m contract for TfL’s Future Bus programme

SSY has signed a contract for about £2m with Trapeze Group (UK) Limited (“Trapeze”)  to provide software design, development and support services to Transport for London (TfL) for its timetabling and scheduling as part of its Future Bus Systems programme.

Keywords Studios (KWS); acquires TrailerFarm for consideration up to £2m

KWS completed the acquisition of TrailerFarm for a total consideration up to £2m. The group also announced that renowned Hollywood sound designer, Scott Gershin and his Sound Lab team in Burbank, California, have joined KWS from Technicolor.

Accsys Technologies (AXS); revenue up 10% for five months ending 31 August

For the five months ending 31 August 2018, total revenue increased 10% to €26.7m (2017: €24.3m). Production volumes increased 4.9% to 16,918 cubic meters compared with 16,124 cubic meters in the same period in 2017, reflecting capacity constraints at its existing Arnhem facility.

Keywords Studios (KWS); H1 2018 results: Adjusted EPS up 53% to 20.1c

For the half year ended 30 June 2018, KWS’ revenue, including contribution from acquisitions, increased 72% to €110.0m vs. €63.8m in H1 2017. Gross margin improved to 37.4% (H1 2017: 35.6%). 

Augean (AUG); 1H18 results: adjusted revenue/adjusted EBITDA up 6%/43% y/y

AUG reported its 1H18 results, whereby adjusted revenue before landfill tax grew 6% y/y to £32.9m, while adjusted EBITDA grew 43% y/y to £8.0m. The company had a strong pipeline of new EfW residue contracts that are expected to enter operation in 2019.
