Renewi (RWI); full-year results; underlying EPS up by 30% at 4.8p per share

RWI has reported its full-year results ended 31 March 2018, with underlying EBIT rising 30% to £69.1m (2017: £53.1m) and revenue up by 8% to £1,566m (2017: £1,451m).

QinetiQ Group (QQ.); FY 2018 preliminary results: underlying operating profit grew 5% YoY

QQ’s revenue, underlying operating profit and underlying EPS grew 6%, 5% and 7% YoY, respectively. Its full-year dividend increased 5%.

StatPro Group (SOG); trading for FY in line with expectations

For the current financial year, trading is in line with expectations. SOG is holding its Annual General Meeting today, 24 May 2018.

Standard Life Equity Income Trust (SLET); Half-year results: NAV total return at -4.3%

For the six months ended 31 March 2018, SLET’s NAV total return was -4.3% compared to the benchmark’s -2.3%. EPS was 9.62p, up 19.1% from 8.08p during the corresponding period last year.

Oakley Capital Investments (OCI); agrees to sell Facile to EQT for £52.2m

OCI will receive £52.2m in cash, a 58% premium to the December 2017 carrying value. The realization would represent an increase of £19.1m to the December 2017 NAV, lifting the NAV per share by 9.3p.

Windar Photonics (WPHO); FY 2017 revenues jump 85% on back of quadrupling of order intake

WPHO reduced net loss to €2.2m (2016: €3.2m) aided by strong growth in order intake (€5.9m vs €1.4m), revenue (€2.2m vs €1.2m) and gross profit (€0.9m vs €0.6m).

Metals Exploration (MTL); 2017 final results: losses narrow to £13.4m

MTL produced 54,765 troy ounces of gold contained in doré bullion during the 15 months ended March 2018.

Stride Gaming (STR); 1H 2018 interims: net gaming revenue up 14% YoY

For the six months ended 28 February 2018, STR’s Net Gaming Revenue (NGR grew 14% to £44.9m (H1 2017: £39.3m). Interim dividend rose 8% to 1.3p per share (H1 2017: 1.2p).

European Inv Tst (EUT); 1H 2018 results: NAV total return at -4.2%, underperforms the benchmark

For the six months ended 31 March 2018, EUT’s NAV total return was -4.2%, compared to a return of -4.0% from the FTSE All-World Europe ex UK Index, adjusted to sterling. The board announced an interim dividend of 9.0p per share for 2018, higher than the 8.0p paid last year.
